Sitges Marina is a beautiful harbour where locals keep their sailing boats or motor yachts and tourists can rent one.
If you are driving from Barcelona the Marina is the exit before the town center exit. You can also get to the Marina with a very nice 20 minutes walk from San Sebastian beach. In fact, it is very recommended to take that walk as you can view many beautiful spots by following the pedestrian walking trail. One of these spots is Balmins church with its white washed walls reminding a bit of a Mexican style and a huge esplanade from where you can admire Sitges silhouette. The typical silhouette starts from the Sant Bartolomeu church and extends to the long beach and Paseo Maritimo ending to the 18 hole golf course of Terramar. As you keep walking you would pass the cemetery, walk on top of Balmins beach, a breathtaking beach, very popular among the gay community and also a nude beach. You would be then arriving to the Marina crowded with hundreds of beautiful boats distributed across several piers.
Sitges Marina has many bars and restaurants and it is a very well known place among the viveurs who are after an aperitif, a good meal and some fiesta.
