The Cavalcade (La cavalcada de los Reyes Magos in Spanish) takes place every year in many Spanish towns (see our former post on the Cavalcada in Sitges which talks about some of the rituals in town). The one in Barcelona is particularly magnificent and beautiful.
The Cavalcade, is estimated to cost 590,000 euros and has involved 1,300 participants between dancers , actors, acrobats and volunteers and runs on a trail three mile long across the streets of Barcelona.
These pictures are some of my best shots of the event near Plaza España.
